About:
Heel Press Foreign Correspondent reporting live from ... whatever continent she happens to be standing on right now!
Thanks for checking out my stuff here on Heel. Thank Heel for existing so that people like me who enjoy writing but haven’t got the time and the patience to actually make something of that can get their work out there in the first place.
For more of my writing, please check out my livejournal or my suicidegirls account. And yes I did produce my own book a while back, but I will proudly wear the stigmata of SELF-PUBLISHED author as the whole experience was fun and completely amazing. I will probably do it again when I have enough money saved up to have my Prague diaries professionally edited.

Michael- It was intense, expensive, and utterly fascinating :) I work very slowly, and I'm very obsessive so the actual writing took around four years on and off :/ I didn't really push myself to work on it so when I finished the finish full draft it was more like "oh ... hey I've written a book..." then, you know, a feeling of "yes! Finally my masterpiece!". The whole publication process was another whole year, but ultimately I'd say it was worth it. I'd recommend self-publishing to any author now that the technology makes it so you don't have to have 10,000 copies of a book nobody wants under your bed @_@ A lot of people look down at it still, but really after clocking a year and a half in a bookstore I realized that even if I got Doubleday to publish my stuff ... no one was going to buy it anyway XD
So if I was going to be a loser writer no one reads, I might as well be a loser writer no one reads with complete editorial control hahaha. And no serious publishing company was ever going to let me "ruin" the book with the formatting I wanted. :)Noble Orange

Yes :)
Although to be honest it was done by a friend for LJ (I was just feeling like the profile here was a bit naked) and I had never heard of Belle & Sebastian before I went "Oooo Pretty!"
