The Problem With Sparkling Water.I yelled at you once. I screamed at the top of my lungs "I love you". But the only time you really pay attention to what I'm saying, is when I whisper. So you didnt hear me.
You laid on your left side one night. I pushed myself up against you, hoping you were sleeping. I put my lips to your ear and whispered this time. "I love you." I felt the fuzz on your ear stand up. I felt the goose bumps on your arm.
I woke you up the next morning. You hadnt the slightest idea of what I was talking about and said that the goose bumps were obviously caused from the cold front.
I saw you today for the first time in two and a half years. You walked into the grocery store the same time I did. To your left, was a little girl tugging at your jacket.
I watched you check out. I whispered (praying you would somehow hear) "I love you" and you looked up, directly at me. You smiled. "I heard you the first time." © worldofmyown
