Waiting all Winter for this

I really enjoy doing this macro work.  It is a nice way to break the fast of Winter.  (Though I like Winter quite a bit too).  These macro photos I do by taking a 200mm lens and mounting it normally to my Pentax 67, then using a coupler ring, I mount a 90mm lens backwards on the front of the 200mm.  A very low tech way of obtaining over a 2:1 macro ratio.  All of my photos like this are found flowers.  They are in flower beds or boxes, taken while wandering neighborhoods or city streets, all done under natural light and hand held.  I like this, I like to think of these magnificent and colorful worlds almost literally under our feet, passed up by many, but explorable to those who will take a moment to look.
