Watercolor
Yellow moon, blackened sky
leave spaces for white-tipped clouds tomorrow rings but it is not resonant yesterday, too, once looked promising The sun rises orange and sets in purple always use your lighter colors first Screams of passion, expressions of joy Always uncalled for in retrospect And the moon reappears before the sun completely steps out every brush stroke is set as if in stone those who chose not to learn are those who haven't looked but she is unforgiving, as watercolor always is © Tanya Jane Beroukhim
