paper bags. so trendy.

on 07/30/06 at 03:12 AM

have to admit, not a big fan of the headband over here...

on 07/30/06 at 02:17 AM

Oh yea, and headbands. Yes! Matching them with what I'm wearing isn't usually my priority as I generally want the headband to be the article of clothing that sticks out most. But I guess headbands stick out naturally because, well, you're wearing a headband.

Yeah, I like it when my shirt matches my shoes but sometimes I'm more particular about my shirt matching my socks. I like it when my cuff links match my watch and my belt buckle.

Hats? Sometimes my hat won't match anything: it'll be self-standing. But most of the time it matches something, probably my ascot. Actually, I've never worn an ascot before in my life, but I might start.

anyone else here like it when their shirt matches their shoes?

Even doper: when their hat matches their pants

I've got my own style. and you've reached me.

on 05/19/06 at 12:26 AM

spandex. al spandex!

Dear Kiki,

you look like you have down syndrome. People who look like you cannot hide behind clothing, regardless of how cool the clothing is. However, with a face like that, you might as well try.

wow, everyone is raging. there is no in or out to fashion. only a del taco. that being said, labeling anything as a "don't" is fucking lame because some people are the sex and can pull off anything. just because you can't, don't hate. whereas others are forever banished to being cavewomen coach bag toting rainbow loving seven jeans shaking fat bitches. that being said, nothings wrong with that either.
anyways....
i believe in tucking in shirts to cuffed shorts.
leggings on those who are not bottom heavy (in general that goes for all of this)
oversized mens sweaters. + shirts
high-tops, ballet flats
long flair. simple and long. lope it.
arm bands that fit above the elbow.
being skinny.
i'm a firm believe that style is undefined by labels, but it is defined by what you look like. no matter how great you're style is, you will never look stylish if you are heinous. its true.
hating on the mainstream is so mainstream. people with truly great style can shop at thrift stores, urban, and fucking neiman marcus. i refuse to hear this and this is bad or the death. get over it. i hate big labels just as much as i hate people who think everything has to be labeless.
nevertheless clothes on girls in general look good on skinny people. not saying that curves aren't gorgeous, they are. but jessica simpson though she shares the same stlyist as nicole ritchie will never look like her. ie. styles are meant to be worn on the lanky. bigger people look like they're playing dress up. and you pumpkins know its true. if you have a problem you might as well retroactively abort your face because nobody likes to see anything on a shanty lard ass. you hear bitch???

on that note.
i love lambs and rainbows and people of all shapes and sizes. i swear.
kisses.

i haven't the foggiest idea..i was just commenting on how great that 'i'm too sexy' song was.

on 09/20/05 at 01:56 PM

hmmm, does RSF actually have other songs?

on 09/19/05 at 11:46 AM

right said fred rocks though :)

on 09/19/05 at 11:46 AM

I was one of the the vendors for the company I work for. However, it was like a catwalk...everyone there (buyers and vendors/designers ) was super stylish, they had a dj playing techno, and they had margarita hour- this is when all the vendors would rush to the drink booth and get free margaritas and coronas...I unfortunately didn't partake in such festivities since my employers were with me at that particular show....

on 09/18/05 at 08:38 PM

If i sasheyed on a catwalk, i would require that "I'm Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred be the only song emanate from the speakers as i tore it up.

on 09/17/05 at 06:29 PM

were you in the crowd or sasheying on the catwalk? Cause there's a difference...

on 09/12/05 at 12:53 PM

I've been to fashion trade shows and fashion shows at clubs.

on 09/11/05 at 08:18 PM

who here has been to a real live fashion show?

With people on catwalks and b-list celebrities in the crowd and all that good stuff?

I've never been to one of those things.

on 09/10/05 at 08:11 PM
