Well, it is about time to cash in my Barnes and Noble gift certificates and I need some fresh ideas for anything worth reading.  Throw me some ideas if you can.

I'm well aware this post is ultra old, but I thought I'd throw my two-cents in anyway...

Of course, Kurt Vonnegut's Slaughterhouse-Five, if you haven't picked him up already...

If you're into the poetry scene, Das Energi by Paul Williams is something both strange and either enlightening or irritating to pick up. Love it or hate it.

Astonish Yourself! by Roger-Pol Driot is a fun book to read through, keeps you thinking.

Naked by David Sedaris is a laugh out loud as well as an easy one or two day read.

Well, I haven't read this book yet but I plan on purchasing Bill Clinton's new book Giving. He was on Letterman last night promoting his book, talking about his wife's campaign, personal life, etc. Clinton seemed very passionate about his book. In his book he talks about how anyone and everyone can give back to their community. He's included stories of real life people and how they managed to give back regardless of how wealthy or poor they are, and/or how much or little time they have. He gives specific examples like how Bill Gates and Warren Buffet have given back to the community all the way down to how children sold lemonade to raise money for the Katrina fund.

I think it's a book worth reading whether you're a Clinton fan or not (Honestly, how could you not be? He's a pimp).

Check it out!!!
