Jack Monroe Silver 4,709 points	December 02, 2006 - 11:56 AM well, he's clearly really trying to get his crazy dedicated christian jew-hating fans to come out to see it by advertising the film as "Mel Gibson's Apocalyptico"....just in case they forgot or didn't realize that he's behind this one. And they will support him. Probably not a flop.  But it won't make Passion numbers that's for sure. I'm guessing 24 million opening weekend
Jack Wood Silver 4,057 points	December 11, 2006 - 02:04 PM i saw it on saturday.  it was an entertaining movie, but nothing close to braveheart in terms of the story. visually it was absolutely amazing.  the only thing is that as i left the theater i couldn't help asking myself the question, "now why was it that he made this film?" worth a view though.
