When father tells daughter she should not eat ice cream. 2. When son finds out he's color blind. Tears poured.
Don Silver 1,114 points	February 20, 2007 - 08:59 AM Yea, this was a great movie, and like cherry peel said, it was also very moving. the film does a good job exploring the characters hopes and disappointments. it also has great comedic value, and it was great to see steve carell try something a little out of the norm considering most of the characters he's played in the past.

megasike Bronze 416 points	July 31, 2008 - 10:19 PM This movie was far too overrated. Steve Carell's character was the only realistically interesting one. The scene where the whole family danced on the stage made me want to vomit. I'm not completely opposed to the film - it definitely had its moments - but it definitely wasn't any better than simply another Napoleon Dynamite wannabe film.
